ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Window restoration of 34 windows at the historic 6 Story Pickwick Mill located at 24813 County Road 7, Winona MN 55987
All bids must be received by June 28, 2023.
Bids shall be, in general, for the following labor, material, and all else necessary for the following items: Window sash and frame repair; replacement of damaged or broken windowpanes; reglazing of windowpanes; caulking exterior window frames; window and frame painting; 34 windows are to be addressed.

This project is contingent upon receipt of a Minnesota Historical Society Grant for the project. Pickwick Mill, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids if grant funding is not received. Contingent upon MNHS grant funding being received, work is scheduled to start in the spring of 2024 and must be completed by October 31, 2024.
Pickwick Mill is a historic structure and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All work must be done according to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 177.41 to 177.44 and corresponding to Minnesota Rules 5200.1000 to 5200.1120, the contract awarded by this project is subject to the prevailing wages as established by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. Contractors and Sub-contractors must pay all laborers and mechanics the established prevailing wages for work performed under the contract.
PMI reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of PMI and the Minnesota Historical Society.
